Utah State Parks and Recreation and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (UHGPGA) are partnering to preserve the unique attributes found at Point of the Mountain, which is known worldwide as one of the best training sites for both paragliding and hang gliding. It is also an ideal place to teach skills related to these sports, and flyers of all levels to gain experience.
Flight Park State Recreation Area is being jointly managed by Utah State Parks and Recreation and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association. Please visit the UHGPGA website for more information about flying safety and requirements: www.uhgpga.org.

Directions: Take Exit 288 off Interstate 15, then drive east to the frontage road, which is called Minute Man Drive, and turn right. Follow it south for about 2.5 miles (drive carefully – there are many very large construction vehicles coming and going). Turn left on the dirt road just past the construction buildings (There’s a sign for “Point Of The Mountain Flight Park”). Follow the road up to the top of the mesa and turn left into the parking area.
